Lessons Learned

One way to look at life is that it is a series of lessons that should be learned. If you learn your lessons, you will be a success. Those unfortunate individuals, however, like our Boys Halfway Houses residents, are usually the type who never learn their lessons. As such, they are doomed to repeat their mistakes and never learn. Well, you can't say that the House Managers don't try. After all, we make every effort to drill into them their lessons. We drill figuratively and literally. Over the years, we have discovered that a cock in the butt tends to focus one's mind on the more important things in life.
