Stranded

As ​Yiling, a Chinese marine biologist living overseas, travels to Newfoundland, Canada, to study a repeatedly stranded humpback whale, the coastline awakens memories of the coastal hometown in China she has not returned to for years. As the whale migration intertwines with human drifting, Yiling gradually learns to confront loss, grief, and the meaning of belonging.
