Edgar, a painter newly invited to the manor, finds himself in the midst of this life-or-death game, where he encounters raw inspiration that shakes him to his core. Facing him is Galatea, a sculptor who ceaselessly seeks her “perfect self” and is obsessed with a maddening ideal.
