Rizky Zulfanny
Biography
Rizky Zulfanny is a student from the Indonesian University of Education, Faculty of Art and Design Education majoring in film and television. During his time as a student, his work focused on the cultural and social realm of the Sundanese people, and his exploration of film visuals became one of his experiments in finding new forms of film suffering. Some of his films include Eureup-Eureup (2023), Pulo (2024), Rama (2024), Sadulur Opat Lima Pancar (2024), and Search of Glory (2025).

This experimental film draws inspiration from the philosophy of Sedulur Papat Lima Pancer, a Javanese worldview that speaks to the presence of four elemental companions earth, water, fire, and air that accompany a human being from birth, unified by the physical body as the fifth and central force (pancer). Through overlapping, symbolic visuals, the film explores the duality within the self and how these elements interact to form a complete human identity, especially within the context of Indonesian culture.
