Biography
Carolina Passos Sousa was born in Lisbon, Portugal, and is currently based in Paris, France. Her artistic practice is based around theatre and contemporary dance, connecting movement, text and performance. She trained at the Teatro Nacional D. Maria II in Lisbon. Theatre work includes "Catarina and the Beauty of Killing Fascists" (for the National Theatre in London, UK and on international tours from Festival d'Avignon); as dancer, "Records", "Black Lights", "Territoires", and "Silence" from choreographer Mathilde Monnier.
