
Yanis Prone
Biography
Yanis Prone (born 9 July 2004) is a young French filmmaker in the making. Currently a film school student, he is trained in the different stages of audiovisual creation and works on multiple projects. He first worked as a grip during his early experiences on set, before gradually gravitating toward directing and screenwriting. In December 2024, he directed his first short film, « Demain c'est déjà hier ». With this debut film, he asserted a singular sensitivity and a desire to create a cinema that is both poetic and rooted in reality. Yanis later developed a strong interest in set decoration and props, contributing to many short films in these roles. From 2025 onward, he took on the role of Production Manager within the framework of final-year projects.
