Police Cadet '84 was a TV series which included such stars in TVB as Tony Leung, Maggie Cheung, and notably, Carina Lau. The story centered on a couple of young "cadets" in the Police Cadet School. When she betrays him, he turns to the daughter of the Devil Sect leader, and thus causes a love triangle between them.

When Gam Sui and his father unwittingly stumble onto the wrong sides of the track, it's up to Ming Tin to pull them back with his old connections.
