Trapped in a transparent cage, four characters perform their empty, ritualistic actions, staging an endless hunt, synonymous with feelings that are now dead. Michele, the puppet son of a declining nobility, manipulates and commands his fictitious bourgeois friends, Ettore and Leo, to avenge the love of Mariagrazia, which has now faded away.
