Biography

Lucas B. Clarke is a multi-award-winning actor and filmmaker based in Wollongong, Australia, specialising in Drama and Comedy. His Filmmaking career began during his Screen and Media cert 3. Since then Lucas has been involved in various projects filling many different crew roles on NDIS videos, Live Music and was the Cinematographer for the 2021 film Public Eye by Director Davo Hardy. Lucas’ strengths are his unique visual style, character driven stories, humour and atmosphere. He has previously created the 2024 short film Had Fun! and Lucas’ work often explores themes of Relationships, Comedy and Mental Health. With a background in Acting, Directing, Cinematography, Editing, etc. Lucas brings Performance Driven, Emotional and Stylistic perspectives to his projects. Most recently, his short film Mates for Life, which he wrote, directed, produced, edited and starred in, has been screening on the international short film festival circuit. The film has received multiple awards, including Best Director, Best Cinematography (twice), Best Supporting Actor and Best Co-Producer for his work, while Dylan Horvat earned three Best Actor awards and an award for Best Co-Producer, Ella Brady received Best Actress, Flynn Piper won Best Original Score, and the film also received an Honourable Mention for Best Drama.
