Biography
Sjoukje Rosalie Dijkstra (Akkrum, January 28, 1942 – Someren, May 2, 2024) was a Dutch figure skater. Dijkstra was among the world's top skaters in the 1960s.[1] She became world champion in 1962, 1963 and 1964, and European champion five times in a row from 1960. In 1960 she won the silver medal at the Winter Olympics in Squaw Valley, and four years later the gold at the Winter Olympics in Innsbruck.
