Shauna Kelly is an actress and writer whose career began in New York, where she worked in theatre and independent film from 1997 to 2010, including performing in Richard Foreman’s King Cowboy Rufus Rules the Universe (2004). Now based between Tokyo and New York, she appears in television and film projects such as Frontline — Yokohama Bay (Warner Bros.) and Human Specimens (Amazon MGM). She is also the author of the book I’ve Got the Shakes: Performing Richard Foreman (Bloomsbury, 2026), where she reflects her interest in the value of theatre for both performers and audiences.
