Asuka Fukuda
Biography
Fukuda Asuka (福田明日香) is a Japanese singer, actress and former vocal coach. She is a former idol under Hello! Project as a founding member of Morning Musume.. Later, she was also a part of the reunion group Morning Musume. 20th. Fukuda graduated from Morning Musume. in 1999, and didn't return to music until 2011 as a member of the band PEACE$TONE under the name asuka. They went on hiatus in 2020, and Fukuda continued as a solo act still using the name asuka.

The name of the show is an abbreviation of "uta bangumi", meaning "music program". The show's theme song, played during the opening sequence and closing credits, was "These Boots Are Made for Walkin'" by Nancy Sinatra.
