The series is based on the books by Norwegian author Alf Prøysen about the Teaspoon Lady, who lives a quiet life with her husband but occasionally and suddenly becomes as small as a teaspoon. In her miniature size, she can talk to animals and finds herself in various imaginative adventures where her wisdom and resourcefulness help her solve problems.
