Biography
Omid Iranikhah (oh-MEED ee-RAH-nekuh) is a writer/director drawn to stories where affection and conflict exist side by side. He grew up in an Iranian family, after all. Whether through comedy or horror, his films revolve around what holds communities together and what causes them to fall apart. His screenwriting has been recognized with the Michael Collyer Memorial Fellowship, a Humanitas Prize nomination, and as a semifinalist in the Academy Nicholl Fellowships.
