Beginning on a naval base in San Diego, California, a hot, butch, blonde, sailor - engineer surveys his warship docked in the blue-watered bay. The cold, stark, solitude of the ship adds to the mystery of a package the American sailor suddenly receives from somewhere in the middle East. Wrapped in Arab language newspaper, a DVD is discovered. The sailor pops the DVD into his laptop in a secluded area on the ship and watches and first with trepidation and perplexment, but then with amazement and erotic pleasure!

The Best of Ramon Mendez is nearly three hours of eight scenes from eight movies which find the good looking Latino hunk in four duos and four trios (one underwater!) with men who often look just like him. Plus some slick twinks and youths, carrying on in a john, a jungle, a park, a pool, a bar, a bathhouse, a bizarre bedroom, a back alley, and backstage at a go-go bar! Scenes are all beautifully shot and the men all beautifully shot. I learned in Bananas from Brazil 1 that the yellow fruit should be mighty jealous of the size of the Brazilians director Alexander has found. Part 2 of the saga even more firmly imbeds that theory in my mind. I would say that Alexander cast these guys only with a ruler, but most are such good performers that the audition process had to be more than that!
