Ryan Hope Travis
Biography
Ryan Hope Travis is a Bronze Award-winning filmmaker, theatre-maker, actor, director, and writer. His body of work spans independent film direction to devised theatre creation. He received a commission from the New York State Council on the Arts, a Grand Jury Prize, and grants from The Gifford Foundation and CNY Arts, among others. His work has world premiered at regional theaters and film festivals in NYC, LA, the United Kingdom, Miami, Austin, and the Academy Award-qualifying, Atlanta Film Festival. RHT teaches at the University of Florida as Assistant Professor of Performance. He is Founder and Lead Maker at Arcable, a film and theatre production company dedicated to producing works of art rooted in social commentary.
