Biography
Bobur Yo‘ldoshev (born January 16, 1979, in Tashkent, Uzbekistan SSR) is an Uzbek theater and film actor, director, and one of the notable figures of modern Uzbek performing arts. Born into a creative family, Yo‘ldoshev is the son of legendary Uzbek theater director Bahodir Yo‘ldoshev and actress Rimma Ahmedova. Following in his parents’ artistic footsteps, he developed a passion for acting and became involved in theater from an early age. He later graduated from the Tashkent State Institute of Arts, specializing in drama theater and film acting. Bobur Yo‘ldoshev became widely recognized for his powerful performances in Uzbek cinema and television. His notable works include Osmondagi bolalar 3 (Children of Heaven 3), Vatan, Sardor, Sardor 2, Sardor 3, Sarvqomat dilbarim, Qo‘rg‘oshin, Qo‘qon shamoli, Ota uy, Kechikkan hayot, and Sudya. Known for his dramatic range and strong stage presence, Yo‘ldoshev has portrayed characters across different genres, including drama, historical stories, detective projects, and melodramas. His performances have made him one of the recognizable faces of Uzbek cinema in the 2000s and 2010s. Alongside acting, Yo‘ldoshev has continued his family’s theatrical legacy. He has worked with the Diydor Theater and has contributed to the development of Uzbek stage culture as both an actor and theater figure.
