
Willem van Hanegem
Biography
Willem van Hanegem (Breskens, 20 February 1944) is a Dutch former footballer and football manager. With Feyenoord (then spelling Feijenoord), he won the Intercontinental Cup and the European Cup I in 1970. Four years later, he won the UEFA Cup with the Rotterdam club. His nickname is De Kromme. Van Hanegem's last position in football was that of head coach at FC Utrecht. He was dismissed there on 23 December 2008. He was previously manager of Feyenoord, AZ, Sparta, and assistant national coach, among others.
