How I Was Independent

How I Was Independent (1963) is a comedy film directed by Vasily Zhuravlyov.

Based on the short story of the same name by Yuri Sotnik. The first-grader Lyosha, when he was left home alone, decided to spend this first independent day of his life calmly and sensibly. But the neighborhood kids disrupted Leshya's plans. They used his apartment to rehearse an amateur performance.
