Clyde marries heiress Agnes for her money, but when he plans to fake his death with the help of his dying twin Ward, Agnes falls for Ward, leading to a murder plot where Clyde is accidentally killed by his own accomplices, leaving Ward and Agnes to marry after Ward's recovery.
